About this teardrop

There is something about a teardrop that makes people smile in gas station parking lots. The Bluebird Swift T14 is about as classic as they come: a robin’s-egg-blue shell, polished aluminum trim and a rear hatch that lifts to reveal a little birch kitchen.

Inside is a queen mattress under a stargazer window, with cabinets overhead for clothes and gear. Out back, the galley has a two-burner stove, a sink with a pump and a tray for your cooler. A 100-watt solar panel and lithium battery run the lights, fan and phone chargers for days.

At 1,380 pounds dry it tows behind almost any car with a hitch, and it fits in a standard garage. This one is currently pending, but Bluebird has a second Swift in a different color arriving soon. Ask us about it and picture yourself watching the stars at Bryce Canyon from bed.
