Home cooks, this one is for you. The Pinnacle 3610FK moves the kitchen to the front cap, where a wraparound counter sits under three big windows. It is the brightest kitchen we have seen in a fifth wheel and there is real counter space for rolling out pie crust or setting up a taco bar for the campground.

The rear living room gets opposing slides, two heated recliners and a tri-fold sofa, and the dinette is freestanding so you can move it where you want it. The king bedroom sits mid-ship over the axles, which is the quietest ride in the rig, and has a laundry closet ready for a stackable washer and dryer.

Summit Line builds the Pinnacle on a 16,000-pound chassis with disc brakes and independent suspension, and you can feel the difference on the climb up Parleys. Expect about 2,600 pounds on the pin; a three-quarter-ton can manage with careful loading, but we recommend a one-ton. With 600 watts of solar and a heat pump, it is equally at home at a Strawberry Reservoir dry camp or a winter site in Hurricane.
