Big families, scout troops and the cousin who always tags along: meet your trailer. The Ridgeback 268BH sleeps nine, and the clever bit is how it separates the kids from the grown-ups.

The rear bunk room has four real bunks, its own exterior door and its own half bath. Wet, sandy kids from the beach at Sand Hollow come in the back and never track through the living room. Parents get a front queen and the main bath with a full shower. In between, the slide holds a sofa and a freestanding dinette you can rearrange for a game night.

This is a 2025 model year we bought out from Timberline, which is why it is priced more than $7,300 under sticker. A heads-up on towing: at 820 pounds on the hitch it is past half-ton comfort for most trucks, so plan on a three-quarter-ton. Once it is hitched up, the tandem 5,200-pound axles and a weight-distribution hitch make it a calm, predictable tow.
