About this pop-up

The Kestrel 12SC is the easiest way we know to move a family from tents to real beds. It weighs under 2,000 pounds, rides on a single axle and folds down to about the height of a car, so it tows behind a crossover and fits in most garages.

Crank the roof up, pull out the two bed ends and you have a king on one side and a queen on the other, with a dinette in the middle that becomes a bed for a fifth sleeper. The galley has a two-burner stove that can also be used outside, a sink with a pump and a 12V fridge.

It is a 2025 model, which is how we got it under $15,000. If your plan for next summer involves Bear Lake or a week in the Uintas with kids, this is a simple, affordable way to get there.
